  • Who We Are

    The Mercy Vessel Project operates as a non-profit organization, providing essential tools for independent living among the at-risk members of communities in the Chicagoland area and regions in Ghana, West Africa, through education and training to enhance opportunities for employment, higher education, economic independence, youth life coaching and spiritual development.

    Mission

    To mentor, empower, restore, coach and build young adults through the acquisition of diversely unique vocational skills, and to also make them imbibe moral principles from the leadership of Christ.

    Vision

    To have a society whose youth are independent of themselves and who are firmly established in Christ.

    What we do

  • What We Believe

    Statement of Faith

    1. The Bible is the Infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. - 2 Timothy 3:16,17
    2. There is only one true God, revealed in the Trinity. - John 14:26
    3. The Lord Jesus Christ was born both divine and human. - John 1:14
    4. Mankind willingly fell to sin, though originally good, and every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation. - Romans 5:1
    5. The practice of two ordinances: water baptism by immersion after salvation, and Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s death. - Matthew 28:19
    6. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience after salvation and physical evidence of it is speaking in tongues. - Acts 2:4
    7. Sanctification initially occurs at salvation, and is also a lifelong process of separating from evil. - Romans 6:19
    8. The Church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. - Luke 19:10
    9. Divine healing of the sick is a privilege for Christians today. - Acts 10:38
    10. Jesus will rapture His Church prior to His return to earth (the Second Coming), and will return for His millennial reign on earth. - Acts 1:11
    11. A final judgment will take place for those who have rejected Christ. - Hebrews 10:27
    12. Christ is preparing new heavens and a new earth for all people who have accepted Him.
